Activity description
MANIFATTURA TESSILE REGGIANI was born in 1973 and it is based in Biella. In 1976, the founder, Attilio Reggiani built the first weaving factory in Biella-Chiavazza and the company started, first in the world, the industrial production of wool-lycra and cotton-lycra fabrics. On 29 May 1998, the company became “REGGIANI LANIFICO S.p.A.”.
Since 1973 we are an innovative company, protagonist in the invention and production of high quality stretch fabrics. The modernizations concerned important Japanese technical equipment to halve the use of water from one to half a million liters per day.
Today, the company operates with a UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 and complies with the requirements of OHSA 18001:2007.
We check all our products with specific test to guarantee the quality.
